The Victory Seed Company is a small, family owned and operated organization that works to preserve plant varieties by locating, growing, documenting and offering rare, open-pollinated, non-GMO, non-hybrid, heirloom seeds to home gardeners. Unlike most seed companies, we actually grow seeds on our farm and help to support other small seed farmers by purchasing what we don't grow from our network of growers.

7/9/15 - Sow Seeds Now To Increase Your Garden's Productivity - We trust that your Spring garden harvest was bountiful, but there is no reason to start putting it to bed for the winter; Not quite yet. Mid to late summer is an ideal time to sow your fall garden. In most areas of North America, you can grow a “second season” of your favorite cool-season vegetables. In areas that receive warmer, mild winters, your options are enviable to those of us living in Northern climes. Now is the time to take advantage of some of the best growing weather of the year. Every year, people from all over the world send us their interesting and prized seed varieties. Although our grow out schedules are tight, we do fit in quite a few "new" varieties each year. We eventually trial them and make as many as possible available to gardeners.
