A hardy annual native to California, but is easily grown throughout the United States.

They grow four to six inches tall and will cover an eight to twelve inch area at maturity.

The dainty, cup-shaped, sky blue flowers bloom throughout the spring and into summer. They prefer a location that is partially shady but will tolerate full sun in cooler climates if not allowed to dry out.
