Bird's-Foot Trefoil

The flowers are bright yellow with red tinges. They bloom in the
summer. A low growing plant, twelve to twenty four inches tall, and
prefer sunny, dry locations.
The Latin
name "corniculatus" means "little crow" and refers to the leaf
shape.
It was
introduced from Europe and has readily naturalized. USDA zones 5-8. |
