The seeds are used as a flavoring for meats, pickles, sausages, and sauces.  In this (seed) form, the spice is known as coriander.

The leaves are also used fresh in soups, salads and salsas.  When used as a fresh, green seasoning, it is called cilantro.

Easy to grow from seed and is an annual that will reseed under good conditions.
