Although we work nearly around the clock to keep up with holiday orders, there are a few areas beyond our control that you should consider as you make gift purchases in November and December.

There are now  days until Christmas Day.  A postal worker or shipping service will be delivering your packages and not Santa!  If your order is intended as a gift, please write "Christmas Gift" in the "Optional Notes" field during the checkout process.  This will help us prioritize gift orders from standard garden orders.

While ordering during the holiday season, there are a few things to keep in mind regarding standard, economical shipping:

• Our standard method of mailing small packages is U.S. First Class Mail.  These usually arrive anywhere in the U.S. within 5 days to two weeks but the post office makes no guarantees.  For 2007, the last day to mail first class is December 18th.

• Our standard method of shipping larger packages is U.S. Priority Mail.  These usually arrive anywhere in the U.S. within 3 days but again, the post office makes no guarantees.

The last day to ship Priority and have it arrive before Christmas is December 19th.  Express Mail can be requested and used up through Thursday, December 21st.

You can check with the U.S. Postal Service's web site or UPS' web site to estimate your delivery time from our location (zip code 97038).  Keep in mind, the Post Office does not deliver standard, first class or Priority Mail on Sunday and UPS does NOT ship on Saturday or Sunday.

If you procrastinate, we can still get orders out but the cost of shipping that the carriers charge increase drastically the closer we get to the 25th of December.

Remember, this is the busiest time of year for all of the carrier services.  If you can get your order in early, it will be easier on your budget and help to guarantee that your packages arrive in time to be enjoyed for Christmas.

We can ship Express Mail or any of the UPS delivery options.  Refer to www.USPS.com and www.UPS.com to estimate the shipping cost.  If you want us to rush ship it, please let us know in the  "Optional Notes" field during the checkout process what delivery service provider and exact product (i.e. "Express Mail", "2nd Day", etc.) you want us to use, and state that you authorize the added shipping costs.
