55 days — The fruits are dark-green with white spines, straight and cylindrical in shape, slightly rounded ends but tending to taper at the blossom end. Excellent processing variety (i.e., pickles).

Bred by R. L. Lower of North Carolina State University, Raleigh and released through various seed companies in 1976. It is resistant to powdery mildew, downy mildew, anthracnose and angular leaf spot. Each packet contains one gram, which is approximately 35 seeds.
