Description
Bronze Mignonette
65 days — A very old, butterhead-type.  The globular heads have frilled leaves that are green-on-bronze with hearts that are creamy colored. The plants are small and compact.

Introduced in 1898, it is slow to bolt and suitable for hot weather. Each packet contains one gram, which is approximately 500 to 600 seeds.

Slow to Bolt
I planted this variety as well as the Cimmaron Romaine Lettuce in 2013. I was looking for varieties that wouldn't bolt as quickly as lettuce I have grown in the past. I was very pleased with this lettuce. I had a wonderful yield and a great harvest. I also replanted several times in the season and had great results. The plants produce a pretty lettuce that has a pleasant taste.
