Past Issues Summer 1999	2000 Online Catalog Update We are just about complete in lining up all of our suppliers and receiving the new varieties for the upcoming year. There are going to be a lot of additions! As the seeds are harvested, cleaned, tested and readied for sale, we hope that you'll be patient and check back at the site often. Our policy is to only list the seed that we have in stock and can ship. We will add varieties as they arrive. We are also putting the finishing touches on our mail order catalog. If you are a current customer, you should receive your catalog in the mail National Organic Standards Although the the 1990 Federal Law has not yet been officially enacted, the standards should be finalized soon. You can download a copy of the Organic Trade Associations suggested "American Organic Standards" from their Web site at http://www.ota.com. *Help grow* this Web site . . . click here to sow your comments.**	- Y2K Update - Well. Y2K is not yet here and we are about sold out of our "Garden in a Can" inventory. We reluctantly got into this market and will be glad when it is over. We are in the business of selling seeds, but we really like is gardening, getting great seeds for gardeners, comparing notes, and doing our part to help save as many heirloom varieties as we can. I think that a lot of people have purchased these products from us, or other companies and are just going to store them away, "just in case". That is fine, I believe in preparing as best as we can for the unexpected, but I also strongly believe in the concept of learning and practical application. If you have purchased, or are contemplating the purchase of a "Garden in a Can", really prepare. Plan to plant a garden this spring. Start seeds like peppers and tomatoes indoors early and go for it. Gardening is my favorite form of stress reduction. If you want one before the end of the year, please place your order by December 7. If you are one of our long time customers, you know how we feel about credit and debt.
