Tomato Baskets

A common question that we receive is how do we keep tomatoes off of the ground.

If you have a lot of space and don't mind loosing some of your crop, allowing tomato vines to sprawl is a valid solution.

However, if you are gardening in a smaller area or otherwise prefer more order in your plantings, caging, staking or trellising is called for.

The methods are numerous and selecting to perfect one comes down to personal preference.

Summer Schedule

Because we are small, even the president is out keeping ahead of weeds, tending to plants and watering :)  We are still shipping orders with 1-2 business days.

During the summer months when our work is concentrated outside, email is the best means of getting in contact with us.

You are still welcome to give us a call, but you may get our message machine.

Thank you for your patience and patronage during this time of year.

Don't take our word for it. What others are saying about us.

Web site Notes

Although our schedule is harried this time of year, we still dedicate time to add information, feature articles, and other tools to help your gardening and seed saving efforts.

Let us know how we are doing.  Comments are always appreciated.

Time for Tomato Disease!

It is the time of year when tomato plants are in full gear and disease and deficiency problems start to show their ugly heads.  Here are a few of my favorite resources for helping to sort out exactly what it is you are dealing with.
