Lend Your Opinion! Mother Earth News has returned to its roots as a how-to guide for living wisely with the land. Lots of changes have taken place in terms of what the magazine covers, and how it does it. Among them: Mother Earth News will publish a series of articles on best tasting vegetables, starting in 2003. Brook Elliott will be the editor of the series. Mother’s "Cream of the Crops" series will profile varieties nominated by gardeners from across the continent. Click here for more information. Spam Email We would like to take a moment to stress that we never use unsolicited email. We have learned that spammers are spoofing our domain name to hide their illegal actions. We will prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law. For more information, click here. Thank You We wish to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support. As a small organization, we appreciate each of your orders, your donations, your feedback, and all of the word of mouth recommendations. It is through your support that we are able to accomplish all that we do. Best of gardening success to you! |
Current Our gardening friends in the southern states report that gardens are producing well. Here in the Oregon, we are still planting seeds and setting out seedlings. Spring has been cold and wet! Even though we are still working on the spring /summer garden, we are already starting to think about the fall / winter garden that we will begin planting in late July. Seed Preservation Program Preserving rare seed varieties is the most satisfying part of our work. If you are growing a family heirloom variety and would like help preserving it, please consider sending seed for submission into our seed bank project. We have a page dedicated to this subject. Please click here for more details. |
