Warming Up To A New Season

It is still dipping below freezing here in Oregon.  As I write this, the weather people are predicting snow tomorrow.  Yet I feel the gardening season beginning.

Our warmer climate gardening friends are already starting their season.  When I talk to people on the phone or via email, I am envious.

For those of us in cooler climates, there are still garden chores to accomplish. When the weather is nice, we are getting our pruning done, cleaning up debris and preparing the beds.  On nastier days, it is a good opportunity to create your garden plans, look through catalogs, and begin planting your longer season varieties indoors in pots.

Gardening can be year round in most areas.  It just takes a bit of effort and determination.

Don't take our word for it. What others are saying about us.

"New" Varieties For 2001

Many new varieties made it into our 2001 catalog. A few varieties were dropped for lack of a source but will hopefully be included in the future. Others were received after the catalog went to production in late December and are found only on the Web site.

Whatever the case, using the Web site is the best way to see what is in stock.

New items are added to the Web site as they become available.  Look for theicon for items that did not make it into the printed catalog.

Check back from time to time and let us know if you are having trouble finding something.  We have gotten pretty good at locating old varieties.

Thank You

We wish to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support. As a small family business, we appreciate each of your orders, your feedback, and all of the word of mouth recommendations.

Best of gardening success to you!

2001 Mail Order Catalog

As you can imagine, printing and mailing a catalog is a considerable expense. Knowing the costs, I am amazed at the quantity and quality of the junk mail items that I receive.

As a small business, we do not have the luxury to spend frivolously. Every dollar counts towards staying afloat.

Although some small seed companies have chosen to discontinue printing a catalog, we decided to mail out the 2001 edition.

Since printing we have founds a few typos, but in general, we are very proud of it. Proud of the selection, the format, and the addition of a bit of color.

If you received the catalog but have chosen to order online, please let us know.  We will be really looking at the return on the investment this next year.
