60 days — 'Cow Horn', or 'Cowhorn', is a very old variety predating the 1860s. Its pods are a bright green color, ribbed, and quite variable in length. It is best to harvest them at about four inches when they are young and tender. At maturity, some can get as long as eight to fourteen inches! As with many older varieties, they do have some spines. Under the right conditions, the plants can reach six to eight feet at maturity. Each packet contains two grams, which is about 30 seeds.
