Description
White Triumph

90-120 days — 'White Triumph' sweet potatoes tend to be nicely shaped with smooth, white skin. Inside, the flesh is an even lighter shade of white; snow-white. Allowed to fully mature and cure, they become even sweeter and drier fleshed. Cooks very well.

A very old variety that has been used as a parent to breed many modern varieties.[1] The earliest reference to it that we could find in our horticultural library was in the 1919 catalog of the J. Steckler Seed Company from New Orleans. They described it as follows:
"WHITE TRIUMPH - This variety is best known in our community as a large, oval shaped, white potato and is grown more for early stock food, especially hogs, than any other variety . . . "[2]

SPECIAL ORDERING NOTES: Please carefully read the ordering and shipping policies found on the main sweet potato category page - click here. There is no way of accommodating special requests. The fulfillment of sweet potato plant orders is extremely time consuming and even more so, time sensitive.

Your order will be shipped to you in the date range for your zone as described. Please note that even if the cart shows First Class Postage, plants ship out from the farm in Tennessee on Mondays and Tuesdays using U.S. Priority Mail. With these methods, plants are healthy and strong when they arrive.

As a reminder, sweet potatoes can ONLY be sent to the LOWER  48 STATES and ship using the U.S. Postal Service. In order to minimize delays or lost packages, please provide a valid U.S. Mail address.
