Ideal Certified Naturally Grown Seed
75 days, indeterminate — Introduced in 1930. "May properly be termed "A Red Globe". Has strong, healthy plants that show no signs of blight. Globe shaped fruits of medium size; bright scarlet; firm flesh. About the same season as Bonny Best. Fruit clusters are set closely on stalk, making increased yield under glass."1

VSC Note: We first obtained a seed sample in 2001 but it was old and we did not get seeds to germinate for the 2002 growing season. We used procedures to improve germination and we were able to increase stock over the past few years. Each packet contains approximately 20 seeds.

Although the name of this variety contains a modern company's name, the seed we are offering is in no way sourced from, "owned by" or connected with that company. The name is simply the historically accurate, common name for the variety giving credit to the seedsman that originally released it.
