Sickle Blade Weeder (Hoe)

This hand hoe or weeder is made from a reused sickle mower section collected from hay swathers after the Montana haying season is finished. The super hard alloyed steel and serrated edges retains its edge against all obstacles and make a fantastic tool for the flower bed.

The sickle-section hoe is the first and most popular in Fisher Blacksmithing's line of tools using repurposed items. A sickle section is the tooth from a sickle bar mower. These sections are discarded once or twice a year during hay season as the mowers hit rocks in the pastures. Instead of being discarded to a scrap pile and recycled, they are perfect reused as the cutting head for a new tool.

The dimensions are approximately twelve inches long by three inches wide.
