95 days — 'Bolita' beans, also sold as "Boleta," have plants that are a low bush type with short runners that generally do not require
staking. The seeds are smaller and lighter in color than Pinto beans. 'Bolita' beans are considered to be sweeter, richer tasting, and easier on the stomach than Pinto beans. They cook fast and their excellent taste makes them perfect for burritos and refried beans.
The 'Bolita' bean is believed to have been cultivated and bred by the Spanish who settled in northern New Mexico. Each packet contains one ounce, which is about 100 seeds.
