Improved Commodore

60 days — Also known as 'Bush Kentucky Wonder'.  The plants reach about sixteen inches tall, open in structure and vigorous. The pods are six to eight inches long, slightly curved, dark green in color, and round in cross section.  They are very tender and tasty eaten fresh as well as excellent frozen.  All the attributes of the old standard 'Kentucky Wonder' pole bean but in a bushy plant instead of a vine.

The original 'Commodore' bean was an "All-America Selection" winner in 1945.  Each ounce is approximately 75 seeds.
