100 days — 'Snowcap' vines grow eight to ten feet in height with white flowers that develop into pods containing five to six large beans each.
These large, reddish-tan and white beans are named for their apparent "cap of snow" on the markings. When cooked, their markings don't completely fade like most dry beans. Their texture is potato-like. Many consider them to be the creamiest and best flavored bean.
They keep their markings and increase two times, that is, one cup dried beans equals two cups when cooked. Each packet contains one ounce, which is approximately 30 seeds.
