68 days — 'Nantes Fancy' carrots are smooth skinned, cylindrical in shape, and reach about eight inches in length. They are sweet and crisp, are a good storage variety, and hold well in the ground.
Nantes-type carrots were first developed in the region of Nantes, France by selecting for desired traits from the older variety called 'Half Long Stump Rooted' carrot.
Not to be confused with the F1 hybrid called "Fancy Nantes" that was introduced in 1982. Each packet contains one gram, which is approximately 600 seeds.
