Dent Corn

100 days — In some years, 'Nothstine' dent corn will mature in as little as 90 days making it a good choice for gardeners in shorter season climates. The stalks grow six to seven feet in heights, and average two good, seven to eight inch ears each. The ears typically fill with ten rows of glossy-yellow kernels with white tips.

'Nothstine' dent is an heirloom variety from Northern Michigan that began widely circulating among seed savers in the mid-1970s. It grinds into a nice, sweet and tasty, yellow cornmeal and flour. Each packet contains one ounce, which is approximately 90 seeds.
