Southern Pea (Cowpea)

75 days — Also known as 'Sa-Dandy', it is similar to 'Texas Cream 40' but the peas are slightly smaller.  The bush-type plants are prolific and thrive in hotter, Southern weather.  A "cream pea" type variety, they are generally used at the fresh shelling stage.  Each ounce is approximately 200 seeds.

Great Peas!
My grandfather grew this variety, my mom did, and now I do. Has a great taste, easy to shell, and the plant is hardy. It was the one thing that grew well in the questionable soil of my community garden plot.
