70 days — The light-green colored heads of 'White Boston' can grow large, up to twelve inches across, are uniform, solid and firm, yet tender. Since they remain tight, it allows the large hearts to be blanched a bright, creamy, butter-yellow color. An excellent all-season variety that is also well-suited for forcing.
'White Boston' first began appearing in seed catalogs in 1930 and was also marketed under the name of 'Unrivaled'. Most merchants referred to it as a, "
