Crenshaw
Cucumis melo L. Inodorus Group
115 days — 'Crenshaw', also marketed by some as "Cranshaw," has vines that are vigorous, but are somewhat compact, and productive. The fruits are pear-shaped, average six to eight pounds each, have skin that is green to yellow in color and with sweet, salmon-pink colored flesh.
Although we have successfully grown them here in Northern Oregon, they do require a long growing season and grows best in warmer weather. About 28 seeds per one gram packet.
