Wild Tobacco Certified Naturally Grown Seed
Nicotiana rustica
[Approximately 100 seeds per packet]

A wild tobacco, also known as Sacred Tobacco, it originated in Mexico but was widely cultivated throughout North America by native peoples for ceremonial purposes.   According to J. B. Killebrew, "Turkish, Hungarian, and Latakia tobacco is probably of this species."

The plants reach about three feet in height, are vigorous and fairly hardy. The abundant yellow blossoms bloom all day and make it an interesting garden annual.

Cultivated worldwide for smoking and nicotine production. Potency is high and has been said to have been used as an arrow poison in Mexico.

Tobacco plants are very interesting, ornamental, and have uses apart from consumption. This section of the website is intended for the historical and informational purposes of thinking adults. Anyone who has been raised since the turn of the 20th century already knows that tobacco can be addictive and can contribute to various medical ailments.  If you do not smoke, it would seem illogical to start.  We in no way encourage people to use any form of tobacco product.

Awesome plant
Planted it as a companion plant. Bugs didn't touch it. Came back the next two years on it's own. Tough plant easy to grow.

Amazing plant!
Talk about high nicotine content. These plants will knock your socks off. Grew well and didn't attract the horn-worms as bad or really at all. I make chewing tobacco from this because it is almost too strong to smoke. Even stronger as chew but what a buzz, might not wanna drive a car at the same time. I highly recommend this plant.
