Keller
Nicotiana tabacum L
[ Approximately 100 seeds per packet ]
Keller is a "Maryland-type" of tobacco historically grown for use in pipe and cigarette tobacco blends. It was also used as cigar
filler. USDA accession number PI 552669.
Note: Maryland-type tobacco plants are tall with large leaves that are
air-cured like
Burley-types, but darker green. Cured leaf can be mottled in color but has excellent burning properties, neutral aroma, and low to medium nicotine levels. Reportedly used in certain American and Swiss cigarette brands.
