'KY 24' is a "
Burley" tobacco and was historically used for cigarette blending. The plants grows to about forty-five inches tall when topped, or can reach seven feet when allowed to develop its attractive pink flowers.
Its leaves have slightly undulating leaf margins with puckered surfaces, are egg-shaped in outline, and attach to the plan stalks at the broad end. Typical leaves are eleven inches wide by twenty-four inches long.
Our seed originated from USDA accession number PI 552678 and is grown for us by David Pendergrass in Tennessee.
