68 days — The determinate plants are erect, moderately branching and reach eighteen to twenty four inches in height. The pods are three and a half to four inches long and contain about nine peas each.

'Badger' was developed as an improved canning pea variety by the Gallatin Valley Seed Company of Twin Falls, Idaho in 1974. It is resistant to Fusarium Wilt Race 1, Powdery Mildew, and appears to be very tolerant of Legume Yellows Virus.

The USDA ARS accession number is PI 601019. Each ounce is approximately 150 seeds, which is generally enough to plant at least a ten foot row.
