Purple Plum
30 days — The roots are round, a deep purple color, and have crisp white flesh that is sweet and mild and resists pithiness. Bred and released by the Alf Christianson Seed Company of Mt. Vernon, Washington in 1985.

USDA, ARS, National Genetic Resources Program accession number PI 601220. PVP expired in 2003.  Each packet contains three grams, which is approximately 200 seeds.

Purple Radish
Excellent radish that we enjoyed in the spring. We recently planted a small batch for this fall. An interesting recipe is to half or quarter them and sauté them in a skillet of olive oil till tender. Excellent as a side dish or over a lettuce salad.
