[security] [privacy]

We take security seriously and are very conservative in how we treat data.  Our security measures began with the selection of our hosting company.  They have a PCI compliant data center and systems that are both physically and electronically secured.  We then secure our web site using a digital security certificate and SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology that encrypts (scrambles) information as is passes from your computer to our server.

Additionally, we do not ever personally see, nor do we record, store or otherwise have access to your credit card information.  When you checkout and click on the button to finalize the payment, the transaction is encrypted and securely sent from your computer to the credit card processor.  A purchase cannot get much more secure than this.

As an added measure of security for you, our customer, we do not accept credit cards as a payment option for email, fax, phone or mail-orders.  If you think about it, writing down or verbally telling you card information to someone is just not a secure thing to do.  And frankly, we do not want the liability associated with handling credit card information.  If you do not have a credit card and wish to place a mail-order, you can CLICK HERE for more information.

Security Reminder
Before you transmit sensitive information to any website, be sure that its URL always begins with https://.

The "s" in "https://" at the beginning of the URL means you are connecting to a Web page using a secure socket.

In an effort to maintain healthy commerce and to protect our customers, the Victory Seed Company notifies the Internet Fraud Complaint Center (IFCC) of fraudulent orders. We record and provide all pertinent information, including IP addresses, to the F. B. I. and we will aide and cooperate in the prosecution of any individual or organization involved in fraudulent credit card activities.

Privacy Statement

The Victory Seed Company has created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to protecting your personal privacy.   We believe that privacy is the foundation on which all other personal freedoms are built. We take this seriously!

We will not sell, or otherwise distribute, our customer mailing list. Our mailing list is used solely for the purpose of maintaining a relationship with our gardening friends (customers). We do not send unsolicited email (Spam). Note: Children 13 years of age or younger must have their parents subscribe for them.

For more information about spoofing and spam email, please click here.

We do not divulge personal information except as follows:

  • Banks, card authorization and fraud screening services. If you use a credit card for your purchase, we use these services to process the transaction and to verify that your card information and address matches the information that you supplied to us, and that the card has not been reported lost or stolen.

  • Agencies or authorities with whom we are legally required to cooperate. We may disclose information during the investigation of fraud or illegal activity. For example, we may disclose information in response to a subpoena, warrant, court order, or comparable legal process.
