65 to 90 days, determinate — The plants are compact, erect, reach about twelve inches in height, and require no support.  Pods contain two to three, small to medium sized soybeans that are yellowish-tan with a dark red-brown hilum (eye) and saddle. They contain about 47% protein and 18% oil.  Good eating quality.

The parent stock source was USDA, ARS accession number PI 548296. It was collected in Hokkaido, Japan in 1951.  Each packet contains 25 to 30 seeds.
