edamame (pronounced "ed-uh-mah-may"), or in 90 to 105 days for dry bean use.
The parent stock was USDA accession number FC 30685. It was originally collected in Japan and donated to the USDA in 1938 by the McFayden Seed Company of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Each packet contains 25 to 30 seeds.
