Kurakake Daizu

110 days, determinate — The plants grow twenty seven to thirty six inches in height and have purple flowers. The medium-sized, flattened beans are tan with a brownish saddle and contain about 20% oil and 42% protein.

The parent stock was USDA accession number PI 81042-2. It was collected in Hokkaido, Japan in May of 1929.  Each packet contains 25 to 30 seeds.
