Manitoba Brown Certified Naturally Grown Seed

80 to 95 days, semi-determinate — The plants of 'Manitoba Brown' are uniform, erect, stout, well-branched, and reach eighteen to twenty-four inches tall. A productive variety, it bears in clusters with each pods containing two to three, round to oval, deep brown seeds. Tasty when green.

Adapted to northern climates, 'Manitoba Brown' was developed by the Manitoba Agricultural College in Manitoba, Canada sometime before 1922. The U.S. National Plant Germplasm System (NPGS) received it into the collection in 1942 and it is accession number PI 548382. Each packet contains 25 to 30 seeds.
