determinate — The plants grow about twelve inches tall and have purple flowers. The medium-sized, oval shaped beans are light green with black eyes and contain about 16% oil and 52% protein.
Also sold as "Panda" in England, the original seed was collected in a city market in Seoul, Korea in 1947. 'Pando' was developed by the University of New Hampshire's Department of Horticulture at Durham and released through the Hepler Seed Company in 1952.
The parent stock was USDA, ARS accession number PI 548399. Each packet contains 25 to 30 seeds.
