semi-determinate — The plants are compact, fourteen to twenty inches in height, with long branches producing purple flowers. The beans are medium sized, a dull, very light-green color with black saddles and contain about 16% oil and 48% protein.
Originally donated to the USDA in 1976 by T. Sanbuichi of the Tokachi Agricultural Experiment Station in Obihiro, Hokkaido, Japan, its accession number is PI 423866. Each packet contains 25 to 30 seeds.
