100 days, indeterminate — The plants grow thirty six to thirty eight inches in height, have white flowers, and produce medium, round, yellow seeds with brown eyes that contain about 21% oil and 39% protein.

The parent stock was USDA accession number PI 548411. It was originally collected in Northeast China in 1920 as FC 03654. It was further developed and released as 'Seneca' in 1949 by R.G. Wiggans of Cornell University, Ithaca, New York.  Each packet contains 25 to 30 seeds.
