which was developed at the USDA's farm in Arlington, Virginia who released it as 'Sioux'. It was originally collected in Hokkaido, Japan in May of 1929 and entered into the seed bank as "Aoshiro
edamame," accession number PI 81021. Each packet contains 25 to 30 seeds.
