Description
Tohya

80 days, determinate — The plants are sturdy, erect, grow twenty six inches in height and produce beans that are large, plump, light green in color with black eyes. They have a superior taste and texture making 'Tohya' a very popular edamame variety.

Edamame is a popular snack in Japan, served with beer. Because it has health benefits that other snacks do not provide, it is becoming popular in the United States.

Our original source was soy collector and preservationist, Chris Martin (CO MA C) who originally received the variety from Dr. Alan Kapuler of Peace Seeds. Each packet contains 25 to 30 seeds.
