Carolina Nugget

100+ days, vining-type — 'Carolina Nugget' sweet potatoes have rosy-colored skins and orange flesh.

Developed for resistance to fusarium wilt and Southern root knot nematode at North Carolina State University and introduced in 1954. It is the result of a stabilized cross between 'HM1-36' and 'Lakan'.

PECIAL ORDERING NOTES: Please carefully read the ordering and shipping policies found on the main sweet potato category page - click here. There is no way of accommodating special requests. The fulfillment of sweet potato plant orders is extremely time consuming and even more so, time sensitive.

Your order will be shipped to you in the date range for your zone as described. Please note that even if the cart shows First Class Postage, plants ship out from the farm in Tennessee on Mondays and Tuesdays using U.S. Priority Mail. With these methods, plants are healthy and strong when they arrive.

As a reminder, sweet potatoes can ONLY be sent to the LOWER 48 STATES and ship using the U.S. Postal Service. In order to minimize delays or lost packages, please provide a valid U.S. Mail address.
