‘Crackerjack Mix’
African Marigold

Tagetes erecta

Also known as American Marigold. The plants are robust, reaching three to four feet in height, with solitary flowers that are two to five inches across. The original strains were single-flowered, new varieties are mostly double. The flowers are yellow to orange with leaves that are finely divided and strongly scented.

Early, giant, carnation-flowered mix of orange, gold and yellow. A native of Mexico and Central America that has naturalized in many warmer regions. Prefers full sun and soil that is dry to moderate in moisture. Very popular as cut flowers and garden plants.

Each packet contains 0.25 gram, which is approximately 70 to 80 seeds.

Very large plant with LOTS of flowers. Blooms in the summer. It does have a pungent smell and is very pretty.
