— Some merchants have are selling 'Caspian Pink' as "Pink Caspian." According to its original sales literature, it is an heirloom discovered in Russia by a Petoseed Company employee shortly after the Cold War ended.
'Caspian Pink' has large, kind of flat (oblate) shaped, pink fruit that weigh up to eleven ounces when the plants are pruned. The fruit ripen from the bottom of the plant up. Their flavor is mild and sweet. Each packet contains approximately 20 seeds.
