Dwarf Beauty King Certified Naturally Grown Seed Certified Naturally Grown Seed

75 days, tree-type — 'Dwarf Beauty King' is a very productive rugose, regular leaf dwarf-type plant. Its fruits are medium sized, oblate shaped, smooth skinned, and red in color with vertical, gold striping; truly beautiful. As an added bonus to their beauty, they offer a rich, balanced flavor.

This "Dwarf Tomato Project" variety originated from a cross by Vince Lavallo in 2011 between an early generation of 'Dwarf Wild Fred' and Wild Boar Farm's 'Beauty King'. This original cross was named "Beauty." 'Dwarf Beauty King' was selected and named in 2013 by Vince. Involved in its stabilization were Vince, Craig LeHoullier, Bill Yoder, Kay Robbins, and Susan Oliverson.

Introduced for the 2017 gardening season. Each packet contains approximately 20 seeds.

In an effort to keep this variety available to home gardeners, 'Dwarf Beauty King' has been released by "The Dwarf Tomato Project" (the breeder) to the public under the Open Source Seed Initiative (OSSI). You have the freedom to use these OSSI-Pledged seeds in any way you choose. In return, if you save seeds or use 'Dwarf Beauty King' to breed a new variety, you pledge not to restrict others' use of these seeds or their derivatives by patents or other means, and to include this pledge with any transfer of these seeds or their derivatives.
