80 days, dwarf — The rugose, potato leaf plants of 'Dwarf Choemato' produce high yields of medium to large (six to twelve ounce), smooth, oblate shaped, yellow tomatoes with red swirls and streaks that run into the flesh. The meaty tomatoes possess a well-balanced, mildly sweet, delicious flavor. The plants average about four feet in height, and due to the high yields and weight of the tomatoes, 'Dwarf Choemato' does benefit from sturdy support.

The Dwarf Tomato Project's "Ivalde" family originated from a cross made by Soren Linnemann between the indeterminate variety 'Vjerino Paradajiz Sjeme' and 'Wherokowhai'. Many volunteers worked on the Ivalde line, but Linda Black selected and C. Jason Liang named 'Dwarf Choemato'. Craig LeHoullier, Bill Minkey, Mike Dunton and John Dunton are the other contributors. It was introduced by the Victory Seed Company in 2022. Each packet contains at least 20 seeds.
