Dwarf Crimson Sockeye Certified Naturally Grown Seed Certified Naturally Grown Seed

90 days, determinate tree-type — 'Dwarf Crimson Sockeye' is a rugose, regular leaf variety that produces large yields of medium (four to ten ounce), pink fruits. The fruits are smooth-skinned with slightly-ribbed shoulders, oblate in shape, with a well-balanced flavor.

Developed by members of the "Dwarf Tomato Project" this variety originated from a cross between 'Rosella Purple' and 'Pink Berkeley Tie Dye.'  'Dwarf Crimson Sockeye' was first bred by Patrina Nuske Small in 2009 and named "Tidy." It was then developed, selected, and named by Ted Maiden with Sue Bailey. Each packet contains approximately 20 seeds.

In an effort to keep this variety available to home gardeners, 'Tennessee Suited' has been released by Patrina Nuske Small (the breeder) to the public under the Open Source Seed Initiative (OSSI). You have the freedom to use these OSSI-Pledged seeds in any way you choose. In return, if you save seeds or use 'Tennessee Suited' to breed a new variety, you pledge not to restrict others' use of these seeds or their derivatives by patents or other means, and to include this pledge with any transfer of these seeds or their derivatives. Early and delicious!
The first of 35 dwarf varieties to ripen my 2017 garden. Full and delicious flavor. My first five tomatoes have been in the 4 to 6 ounce range.
