75 days, dwarf — The rugose, regular-leaf plants of 'Dwarf Mary's Cherry' are very productive. Its fruits are round to oblate shaped, purple colored, two to four ounce tomatoes with an excellent, complex flavor. Although most of the fruits on the plants are smaller, cherry-type, there is variability in shapes on the same plant.

Beginning with seeds from the "Hazy family," Dwarf Tomato Project volunteer, Susan Oliverson, who after selecting and stabilizing the variety, named 'Dwarf Mary's Cherry' after her daughter. Additional work was provided by Justin Sieglaff. Bill Minkey produced the seed for its 2018 release. Each packet contains at least 20 seeds.
Great Flavor and Texture
This was the star of the garden with pleasantly round fruit that were reddish-purple with green shoulders.

Plants were hardy with dark green foliage. They reached around 5 feet in height and had to be trimmed back to 4 feet. They grew well with two plants in a 25 gallon grow bag, but would probably do better if planted in individual containers.

Fruits had a very good flavor with a nice balance of sweet and tart. Excellent eaten fresh and we loved making bruschetta with this variety. Still going strong in September and they are still flowering and setting fruit.

100% will grow again as it seems it is fairly resistant to problems like BER and fungal issues that plagued my other tomatoes this year.
