75 days, dwarf — The rugose, regular leaf plants of 'Dwarf Metallica' grow two to three feet in height. It fruit range from four to sixteen ounces each, are pink in color with green stripes, oblate to slightly heart shaped, and deliver a flavor that is well-balanced; slightly sweet and tangy.

The "Beauty" family originated from a cross made by Vincent Lavallo between the "Dwarf Tomato Project" release 'Dwarf Wild Fred' and the indeterminate variety 'Beauty King'. 'Dwarf Metallica' was selected from this family and named by Suzanne Dzejachok. Others who contributed to this variety were Craig LeHoullier, Susan Oliverson, Nancy Ruhl, Ray Newstead, Justin Sieglaff, Barbara Kambourelis, and Anne Haywood, with Bill Minkey and John Dunton growing out the release.

We have observed an occasional off-type plant, and will continue to refine the variety, but for the most part it is quite stable. Each packet contains at least 20 seeds.
Delicious tomato!
Delicious tomato! Three foot compact plants with dense foliage. Grown in zone 8A of coastal Virginia in seven gallon grow bags. Beautiful, medium-sized striped tomatoes in 3 to 4 fruit clusters. Crack resistant through summertime thunderstorms until we were thoroughly soaked by tropical storm remnants. Perfect slicer for sandwiches with a nice sweet/tart balance. Will absolutely grow again!
