Dwarf Vince's Haze Open Source Seed Initiative

76 days, dwarf — The rugose, potato leaf plants of 'Dwarf Vince's Haze' reach four to five feet tall and are productive. The medium to large (three to ten ounce), oblate shaped, purple colored fruit average between five and ten ounces each and provide an intense, delicious, well balanced flavor.

The "Hazy" family originated from a cross made by Vincent Lavallo between the Dwarf Tomato Project release 'Dwarf Wild Fred' and 'Purple Haze'. 'Dwarf Vince's Haze' was selected by Susan Oliverson who named this variety after the Hazy family's originator, Vince Lavallo. Along with key contributor Susan Oliverson, others who participated in the development work were Craig LeHoullier and Justin Sieglaff, with Bill Minkey producing the final selection seed. Each packet contains at least 20 seeds.
