59 Days, determinate
— The compact plants of 'Golden Bison' are very productive. The fruits are medium-sized, globe-shaped (slightly flattened), and golden-yellow in color. Some specimens we observed developed a slight blush on the blossom end. They are mild flavored, sweet and juicy.
Bred by Dr. Albert F. Yeager
of the North Dakota Agricultural Experiment Station as a stabilized cross between 'Bison
' and 'Golden Queen
' and released in 1930. Although well adapted to the Great Plains Region, it does well anywhere compact, early maturing plants are desirable. Each packet contains approximately 20 seeds.
