Indian Stripe Certified Naturally Grown Seed

85 days, indeterminate — 'Indian Stripe' has compact, productive, indeterminate plants. The fruits are oblate, similar to 'Cherokee Purple', but a bit smaller. The coloration is predominantly dusky rose with some occasional green striping, also similar to 'Cherokee Purple',  but its shoulders are not typically as dark. The flavor is excellent and best when fully ripe.

This variety was sent to us by Craig LeHoullier who originally received it from Dr. Carolyn Male. Carolyn's seed came from Donna Nelson in Texas who found this variety growing in the garden of Clyde Burson, a neighbor of her relatives whom she was visiting in South Central Arkansas. Each packet contains approximately 20 seeds.

My absolute favorite favorite full-size tomato
My absolute favorite favorite full-size tomato, both for taste and for production, here in our central Texas climate.
