Description
Louisiana Red Certified Naturally Grown Seed
90 days, indeterminate — The fruits are scarlet (red), slightly flattened globe in shape and weigh three to fourteen ounces.  It is one of the early wilt resistant varieties.

Bred by C. W. Edgerton by crossing 'Louisiana Wilt Resistant' and 'Earliana' (Langdon Strain) and released in 1918.  Our parent stock source was USDA ARS accession number PI 270197. Each packet contains approximately 20 seeds.

Excellent Utility Tomato
This is a versatile tomato. Equally good to top a sandwich or hamburger, complement a green salad, or serve as the basis for salsa. Less acidic than Beefsteak. We've had no problems with pests or disease with this variety.
